The Hero of Time. The Dragonborn. Commander Shepard. The Pokemon Champion. The Nameless One. Kalach-cha. The Vault-Dweller. The Tactician. Wanderer. Ex-Soldier. All of these and more you have been.
In countless worlds, in distant times, you've left your mark, no matter what your name.
You've challenged a perfect, immortal machine, halted the Greymarch, toppled the Lich King, brought judgement upon empires, slain gods, and defied fate itself.
The path you walk is not easy. You've known everything from war, pain, betrayal, and loss, to peace, laughter, friendship, and romance. You've known these, the good and the bad, over and over many times, stinging freshly each time. And you must always move on, you can never stay for long.
The Ankh, the symbol that guides your path, grants you life everlasting, that you may know new forms and life after resurrection and regeneration. Every new world, a new face. A new name.
There are still countless more worlds in need of your guidance, in need of your heroism or your dark deeds, your kindness or your ruthlessness, your blessings or your banes. You will find companions that would stand at your side to the bitter end. You will wield mighty power that bends the very stars. Your knowledge of the land shall be great.
Where you tread, the world trembles. Where you raise your hand, greatness is borne. And they all will be watching, and they will believe in your name.
The name of the Avatar.
I'm back to music! Looks like Lyra has matured a bit and... filled out =3c
She should probably should stop eating all my mental chocolates. I have no idea what kind of calories are in those, but she's going to ruin her figure if she eats things from MY mind.
=Pyori-chan is an awesome chick for letting me use this updated Lyra art! Thank you dear <3
So, this is the result of me putting 200% effort into the Ultima VI: The False Prophet intro music. I wanted to create something dark and mysterious, but somehow heroic for The Great Deviantart Adventure, but I also didn't really want to return to music until I really put in some effort and improved. People like *windPianist and ~JosephCollins are constantly showing me up in terms of quality, time to get serious!
I will totally be playing Shroud of the Avatar when it comes out, I remember saving Britannia way back on my elementary school computers (I don't remember if what we had was Ultima IV or V.) Hell, I might even try my hand at composing music for it, I hear Lord British himself will pay for high quality mods like that.
Ultima VI Intro originally composed by David "Iolo the Bard" Watson, Kathleen Jones, Kenneth W. Arnold, Todd Porter, and Herman Miller
This arrangement is composed by Rodie Clemens, Bard-In-Training and possibly a Time Lord
I loved theIntro music of Ultima VI in was such a mix of sadness, creepiness longing and myster, and your remix is wonderful!
Aw Rodie you know that I have no idea how to critique music - 3 -
I guess the only thing I do dislike is the hight pitch sound you put a bit after the start, if it were a bit softer I guess I would enjoy more. But then you know how sensible I am to those sounds ;A;
Also you re awesome for remembering about Ultima 6. If weren't for this game I wouldn't ever learned English
I'm glad to hear something again from you. This is very nice. :3
Ahaha thank you~
I'm kinda debating if I want to try making music mods for the upcoming spiritual successor to this series... On one hand becoming a VG music composer would be a dream come true but on the other I'm just an untrained idiot when it comes to music XD
Yer welcome. c:
And well....just do what is fun and makes you happy. I mean, I don't think I can make a career off drawing / painting, but I'm going to continue. Maybe someday I'll get good enough to actually make money. Maybe not. But even if you get into a job that isn't what you really want to do, you can always fall back on the things you enjoy.
Dunno what I'm getting at, but I guess I'm just trying to say you should keep doing it even if you can't make a job out of it. c:
Woo that was great! Been a long time since you did some music, I missed it.
I liked it. Nice job.
Somehow, it's very relaxing.
