It's like Motley Crue meets Anamanaguchi meets ZUN. What is this eldritch awesome.

Here's my WIP-ish first attempt at chiptek music =D Needs some kinks worked out I think, so I'll be updating it as needed <3

This is totally my limit-break theme.

Motley Crue is on their way Home Sweet Home tonight, and made the original Kickstart my Heart.
ZUN is finally getting one of those Girls, Girls, Girls, and made the original Touhou music.
Rodie-The-Nightblade is ordering up another Slice of Your Pie and made this arrangement.

Well, you did say this is your "WIP-ish first attempt at chiptek music" so there are indeed a few kinks.

-The Maiden Capriccio parts are kind of clashing with the guitars. I wonder if transposing the parts may alleviate that problem.
-I'm sorry the Captain Murasa parts are somewhat drown by the guitars again. There's no messing with Motley Crue, indeed.

I believe those are my two cents for this piece. And thankfully, it's not under a provocative title to..."inhibit" my inner critic.

Marisa, Reimu and Murasa all in one? What joy. And forgive my ignorance since I was totally new to the Motley Crue portion of this arrange, but this arrange is a delight. (I think I'm beginning to love the original too. Thanks for bringing it to attention!) If anything it makes the experience more interesting ... you listen through this funky but unfamiliar start, and then halfway through, HELLO DANMAKU GIRLS. It's so cool open these mash-ups up wondering how you've interwoven the two sources each time, then to find out. =D

By the way, that dissonance ... :iconpervplz: It's so freaking bold. You could've transposed and harmonised each Touhou part to fit Kickstart My Heart perfectly, but leaving in those clashes then fusing them at the very tail of each phrase ... it's waaay more interesting. <3

Also that Magus Night bit was the absolute BOMB.

Awww, thank you so much, hearing that makes my day and makes me feel like it was all worth it =3

Oh lord, you know, I tried harmonizing all of it, but it lost all of the "oomph" I was going for. When it comes to arranging, I just let the music take me where it will as I arrange it and if something FEELS right, I do it. I'm glad the impact wasn't lost on you <3

Ahaha Magus Night is easily my fav Marisa theme.
