EPISODE 2- Evil Emperor Jimi Hendrix and his Ambitious Afros

Allright, I've broken out a fresh bottle of whiskey for this occasion. I'ma need it. Despite this, in all seriousness, I'm not angry at all about this purchase. I agree with my friend who got me into Mazinger: crappy subs add to the experience.



I'm gonna try a more screenshot-heavy post style from here on out. See how it works. I still cut about 6 minutes of stuff from this episode, all told.


The narrator starts us off with a recap! Dr. Hill is more interested in playing Space Invaders. _{The Getter Robo edition.}

This turns out to be bad news for trees, but not much else so far.

Siro, being the evil villain that he is, is pained by this display of affection.

Asla puts on his best Nixon face and moves to remedy the situation.

Meanwhile, back at the Photon Lap...

He's a very successive scientist.

He introduces his daughter, Sayaka.

Koji is having none of his villainous bullcrap.

They have an offscreen conversation about what happened so far.


Talking about Dr. Hill. They sure like to mention his ambition a lot.

They are just as surprised as we are.


It's flashback time, to the time when Dr. Kauto discovers...


...Partos island. I feel the need to point out that the box for the DVD spells it correctly as "Bardos, sometimes called Birdos, though some inconsistant translations have identified it as the Greek island of Rhodes." Huh. Well.


"I'm totally trustworthy! I swear!"


"It could recite all of Shakespeare's Hamlet, forwards AND backwards!"

Oh hey robot!


It was here that I realized that the Mycenaean (pronounced "Mee-kayn") were being translated as "Jimior." Jimior...? Google, explain!

Koji insists he's not fool.

Siro delights in his brother's display of weakness. Hohohoh.


"I've warned you not to imitate Poseidon!"

I have one of those on my Swiss army knife.


Shit! Koji decides to destoy them.

Again, Koji is painful.

Sayaka walks up in Afrota S and sees Devil Z spinning in place.


You should know better than to gain a tactical advantage over... yourself?

Koji has other plans though. He just can't miss the next episode of Puella Magi Madoka Magica!

Even Dr. Kauto's disembodied voice tries to make him happy.

Oh snap, it seems Devil Z is so badass it actually MADE ITSELF.


Koji isn't a very good sport.

Player Phase!

Koji is victorious

Dr. Hill and his tricks


Koji vows to conquer the world in the name of justice!


Asla has had about enough of this.


Dr. Hill doesn't have a very strong imagination, it seems.





Devil Z gets all the ladies.


This line seemed innocent enough, but then I remembered Siro is secretly the main villain.


"You don't know where it's been!"


Cheer up!


Or she just wants a kiss.

In the infirmary, Sayaka starts to wake up.


"You have a lot of chores to do today, so don't sleep in!"


Seems kinda a tragic question when you ask it looking that bored.

She thanks our hero for rescuing her!



Yes Siro. Yes he is. You'd best keep your ambitions to take over the world in check, or you'll need to cheer up!



Of course!


Sayaka then began to plot their demise.

Everyone laughs, but then Dr. Hill calls!





"...and... I'm an evil villain." "Hiii, Dr. Hill."


Hehe!


He declares his intent to take over the world and all the slaves! DUN DUN DUNNN!!!
